The curatorial ambition for the show is to introduce design into the foyer and main rooms of the theatre creating a wholly new fair concept. The works of international designers, editors and galleries are selected amongst four categories (seats, vases and containers, screens, works on paper) and presented in a setting that echoes the ambiance of the theatre.

During the show the “mise en scène“ of the selected design pieces will prevail over their ordinary “use“. The object becomes the subject. As the visitor traverses the rooms of the theatre, they cannot help but be struck by the intensity of details, colours, proportions and variety of the materials of the exhibited items. Each work on display is also available for purchase. A guide will be distributed at the entrance providing useful information about all that lies within the show. The public is free to spontaneously and intuitively appreciate the works on display.

Let the show begin!
